La Romana Port receives large cruise ships and offers passengers very comfortable facilities on the shores of the Chavon River. Just a few minutes away is Altos de Chavón, the famous replica of a 15th century Mediterranean artist’s village. Casa de Campo features three spectacular courses designed by Pete Dye: Teeth of the Dog, the Links and Dye Fore. A few minutes away you will find his son P.B. Dye’s beautiful and recent creation, La Estancia Golf Course. Resting among a secluded enclave above the Chavon River with new villas, it has a hotel with magnificent greens, and a club house for visitors. In addition, there are spectacular beaches nearby such as Bayahibe, Dominicus and Saona island.
